If you have kids or nieces, nephew, grand kids you can relate with this. It’s becoming disturbing how society tries to take over shaping our children.
Society normalizes too many things; dating even before they can differentiate their left from right (not literal). What do kids know about dating. No wonder the increasing number of teenage pregnancies. young mothers and young fathers. Babies having babies. TV channels praise teenage pregnancies, making movies and reality shows, making it ok. It’s sad that some families/parents don’t see anything wrong when their Kids learn crazy things so early in age. “It’s ok they’re kids”.
Why is discipline a scary thing? It’s our job as parents to teach our kids good morals. Teach them to give up their sits for elderly. Teach then to answer “yes mom” or “yes dad” when called. Teach them to add Ms and Mr before any adult’s name. Teach them to say Please and Thank You. Teach them to helpful and kind. Instead it seems like there’s this phobia for discipline.
“Train up your child in the way he/she should go and when he/she is old, he/she will not depart from it.”
Let go of the phobia to discipline. There’s a time to be your kids friends; when they’re older teenagers/ young adults not as lil kids. Little kids need structure and discipline. Who better to give this to them?.
Discipline is good. It molds, shapes a child. So let’s not be weary in teaching our children good morals.
